Sometimes when you want to get really creative in the websites you do, you tend to use Flash. Flash is really cool on webpages, except they impair your page ranking. So instead of having a really neat site with all the amazing Flash tricks here and there, you think twice about incorporating them in your web work.
Search engine indexes your page according to what they find in the contents on your site. Most often, sites have navigation bars at the topmost or the left part of the page. These are read by search engines when indexing. It is okay if your site have various options, but what if it uses repetitive words? Your page ranking could lose points for keyword spamming.
One tip to avoid this is to use Flash for your menu bar. Because Flash aren't usually read by these search engines, it would skip the entire menu directly to the text contents. Second tip is transforming repetitive words in your contents to Flash. Since search engines take points off on redundant use of texts in every page, you can avoid this encoding definite contents of your page into html and any word that tends to get repeated in other page if they are made into Flash.

So you have a business and want your products and services to attain that coveted Google top ranking search query result everytime a keyword pertaining to your products or your services are searched. This would definitely increase traffic on your site, not to mentionn exposure, which would result in more profits due to more clients. What is to be done so as to attain this ever elusive goal is the proper website design of your site on the internet.
First, of course, would be to promote accessibility, usability, and ease of navigation on the pages of your website because most viewers like to frequent a website that is easy to understand and navigate through. Then, consider including your own search engine integrated on your homepage, plus a Google search box maybe at the last part of your website's homepage. This would greatly increase your current page ranking on Google. Plus, systematically categorize or organize the products and services of your business on your website. I suggest using a different page on your website for each product or service, with, of course, an intensive description of the product or service in focus.
Next thing to do would be to include trivia questions at the bottom of your website's homepage so as to notch your Google ranking up a bit. Finally, what would be an even more powerful search engine rank booster would be the rudiments of Google bombing, which I have already discussed during my last posts. Because of fast communication technologies, we now have the power to do such things!

Is it not ridiculous that web sites are paid according to the number of clicks they receive? I find this very annoying. However, I do not deny the fact that I painstakingly worked on the keywording of my content. I did this thinking that the secret to getting the most numbers of clicks is through effective keywording.
I have already mentioned in the article about AdWords that customers or users are more interested with specific, clear, and eye-catching keywords. This encourages them to click on the site which in turn brings money to the owner of the web site. I followed the same rule, and my web site, not to brag, is listed on the first page of the results. My business remained stable these past few months, and I admit I owe it to the pay per click system of Google.
By the way, I learned about this payment system at the launching of my site. I admit that the bidding process is really a difficult one, since I have to spend a relatively large sum of money in order for my keywords to be considered for the high ranking ones. Also, adhering to the payment system of Google, I find my site being regularly updated and monitored by Google. I also experience less hassle in the wireless connection traffic. You know, as a business man, time and money are of the essence for me. I am not sure as to how far Google will take me, but it is the most reliable search engine I have found so far.

Let us go back to the pay per click system. I forgot to remind my fellow web site developers that another essential factor to be considered, aside from effective keywording, is the wise selection of submission services offered by search engines. In my case, I am just lucky to have been assisted by a friend who knows the twists and turns of submitting web sites.
At first, I was reluctant about my budget. I mean, web developing is business, and I am going to let my money slip away from my hands for unsatisfactory services. I used to search for free reliable softwares that does the submission for web contents. . Unfortunately, I was compelled by my friend to turn to paid services for more reliable optimization of my site. My preference has always been Google. It was able to promote my site in fastest possible time.
By the way, I also experienced receiving re-submissions. The first time I did, I was disappointed. But, later I learned that this was included in the package to further optimize my site. This may sound very technical, but I would recommend that web developers adhere to the same processes that I underwent. So far, I am satisfied with what Google does for me. Submitting contents or web site pages could be very complicated. Add to that the different stages contents must undergo in order to be verified, linked, and indexed. But, wait until you get the results, and like me, you will be glad to have your site submitted to Google.

The single most essential factor when it comes to page ranking is the keyword. Efficient keywords drag web sites to the top of the rank. This is true, most especially, for product endorsers. Customers are more likely to click on the ads that bear the complete product information. The same with all other websites, users or searchers type specific keywords that correspond to their needs. However, if a website failed to assign efficient and easy to locate keywords its content, there is a possibility that that site will be left behind in ranking.
Keywords also bring websites in the correct search engine listing. I do my researches on the Internet, and many times have I been troubled by unnecessary and unrelated sites included on the list of results. There were also times when I do not get what I want. These and more conflicts occur just because the websites fail to assign correct keywords.
So, to my fellow website developers, I suggest that we take excellent care and attention when assigning keywords for our sites. General keywords are taboo. I also observed that phrases are better than words alone. For example, it is easier to find a site about pizza if the pizza site allows searchers to access the mozzarella pizza. Doing so, searchers will be directly brought to the specific pizza of their choice. This strategy also gives searchers the idea to look or what they really want. It is only up to us, web developers, to make the content of our sites as interesting and informative as possible.

I am not an advertising via search engine guru, but I would like to say some things to my fellow web developers. First and foremost, I patronize Google (and I hope that you do, too) and so far I had no troubles dealing with it. Next, I am really anxious about the ranking of my site. We are merely players here, and business men for that matter. I would like to share some tips on how to optimize our Google.
Remember the URL thing? Yeah, our identification lies on URL. I mean, we can all link to anybody in the internet but, originality is of most importance. I am also sure that you are familiar with PPC or the system wherein ads are paid every time they are clicked. It is funny, but true. I regularly visit other websites, and I managed to learn that many products are advertised in a website that is connected to other sites that advertise the same product. Confusing? I used to think such technique is good, until I learned that it will not be recognized anymore by Google. Advertisers used to think that they will get better page ranking because they and their products are easily accessed by users via any site. This is a misconception.
Do not get Google wrong just because it wants to heighten the results of its AdWords. This will better detect the ranking of sites. I understand that they want each product endorsers to create their own page that features unique information. This way, specific products are viewed in specific sites. Pictures and reviews are important to customers, so they expect a product to be featured by the manufacturer in an exclusive manner. Another thing, I think the standard procedure of requiring e-mail address as gate pass in order for customers to access the site is a good idea. Also, effective keywords are essential for quick identification of products. Google said that the more specific the keyword, the quicker the selection, the better the choice. I observe that effective advertisements include the price as well as concise description of products. For me, these are more appealing than those that simply invite customers to click the ads. The trust and interest of customers are gained by ads with complete information on the products, thus there is high probability of website public recognition. I also suggest that advertisers regularly track the ads. See you on the summit!

Search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN with the aid of search engines optimization services, have recently ventured on yet another valuable internet service. This is popularly known as page rank. This latest innovation gauges the trustworthiness of web sites so that internet users can easily know which website is the best.
To know the page rank of the website page you are visiting, simply follow the easy-to-do guides on how to determine a particular web site page's rank. In this manner, you will know if you are in a reliable web site. If not, then it is about time you visit a more reliable one.
How important is a page rank? Is it a boon or bane? Apparently, a web site page which has a high page rank is better than the one with a low one. But, another thing that should be taken into consideration is the number of links on the page. For instance, a PR with 30 outgoing links is better than a PR with 60 outgoing links. Therefore, in order to be a boon, a website should strive for more inbound links than outbound ones. It is a bane if the page has more outbound links. Reliability and trustworthiness brought about by PR and links may be a boon or a bane depending on how websites work.

Page Rank is one of the innovations that the internet is offering to the public. The great thing about Page Rank is that internet users can know the ranking of the web page that they are visiting. The internet users will have an idea if the web page or website that they are visiting offers good information about the things that they are interested in. A person just needs to download the software. Afterwards, he or she can find the ranking of the page that he or she is visiting by looking at the lower right side corner of his or her monitor screen. The ranking of which is that 5 is the highest, while NA is the lowest rank that a page can get.
A page rank is not just about the volume of the visitors that a site receives. Google actually remembers the sites that people find relevant. Google has the capability to analyze the contents of a page that people visit. Therefore, Google can determine if the site is actually relevant to a person's queries. Google's expertise makes it hard for people to mess with the system. Page Rank and Google is a pretty good combination for internet users out there.

In optimizing your site on the Google search engine results, FRESHNESS is a question. Nope, not because Google detects the new content that you have just updated on your website. In fact, the only way that Google recognizes how fresh your website content is is when you have changed your website structure, your keyword density, the number of your inbound links and how much duplicate content you have.
Some web pages need not be updated regularly. Information on these sites need not be stale. What makes freshness a website marketing factor is when customers visit your site regularly (counted as traffic) and expect for updated content.

Your web site may be figuratively just collecting dusts in the Internet bookshelf. Your website may contain all spectacular graphic designs but you are not getting the attention you need. Your website may contain very informative articles but nobody is reading them. You simply might just be wasting money and effort without getting paid. This maybe okay if your clientele is only a select exclusive few.
This maybe okay if your website is intended for nonprofit purposes. But this is not okay if your product inventory is not moving. Search engine page rank may be improved by employing certain search engine optimization tools. You may also hire the services of a credible SEO company to improve you web page ranking in searches.

When you are researching in the library, the most common tool you will use in finding the right book you need would be the card catalogues which list books alphabetically according to titles, authors and subjects. The research process is relatively easy in compared to browsing all the books in the library.
On the other hand, researching in the Internet can do not offer the same convenience. The overwhelming data in the Internet are largely unorganized. Internet research relies on keywords and page ranking. Not all web pages that appear in the first ten are authoritative or even related to the topic you are researching about.

Known as just PR, Pagerank was developed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. It is used to numerically weigh the hyperlinked web pages gathered by a search engine. Pagerank is primarily used in the search engine optimization industry specifically by Google in determining the relevance and importance of a web page.
The page rank of a web page is the result of a poll by several other web sites on the Internet. The casting of votes is done when a web page hyperlinked a certain web page. It only means that the admin of the other web site is supporting the other site that is why he or she hyperlinked it in his or her site. A web page can get high rankings if several of the web pages that hyperlinked it also have high rankings. On the other hand, a web page that has 0 Pagerank only means that the web pages on the Internet do not support it.

When a search engine, like Google, search for web pages, it looks for certain keywords and links. The listing of that will be displayed have ranking based on the number of links or referrals that the page has for the given keyword. Page ranking is a marketing and promotional tool in the Internet that enables a website to be accessible to as many people as possible. Page ranking is not based on how authoritative the documents of a web page. But rather it is based on the total number of other sites that referred or are linked to that web page. Hence, the returns that a search engine reports are not very useful if one is looking for really authoritative pages. Webmasters know this and exploit this by posting daily blogs referring to other links. The more links you referred to the more likely your page will be found by search engines.
